Great place! Wonderful landscape! One of the times we were there, an English tourist was climbing the rock to the river on his slippers. We asked him if he needed help, he said no. When we came back from a walk we saw him in the river on a rock: dead! We warned the police, but didn't tell his family he was taking a huge risk on his slippers. We bet they couldn't live with it. Now they told them that it has been an accident, that he must have been falling down the road! He had 3 young kids. Always thinking of him when I hear the word Tarn. A very sad story.
I'm sorry to hear that! We indeed need fear, it warns you! The Englishmen was quite stooped to climb rocks on his slippers. No grip at all!! He almost reached the top (where the road was). He must have fallen down some 20 meters or more.
