Hi Marc!!!

I always with great interest watch your photo's... which becomes with time really better and better...

About this photo... Nice composition, perfect feeling of volume and light rendition (via haze). Really well done... But (IMO) this photo will be better if U take into account some "small" bugs in the composition:

1. Will be better to avoid the location of the main object at the central "point" of the photo, and esp. the dark object (dark green) on the dark background - pine on the mountain background... - "dark on the dark". Мay be better move something to the left/to the right while shooting this scene?
2. To prevent the "integrity" of the composition, may be better (IMO) to crop a little (5-10px) from the right and left sides and remove small fragments/branches of pines on this shot? Also "seen" the other/different variant of this photo - with strongly cropped lower part/bottom of the shot (1/3) ~ almost to the bottom of the tree ...
3. This is the "high-mountain" shot - bright sun, crystal clear air, high UV and etc. U can use PL-Cir filters which remove's unwanted reflections from surfaces such as snow, stones, etc. They also enable colors to become more saturated and appear clearer, with better contrast - increase the contrast and saturation in blue skies and white clouds in the "high-mountain conditions".

So... once more... nice shot... with amazing sense of space.

Best wishes,

Sergey
