Village light by =rdalpes Suggester writes: "Oh my. such a lovely contrast of color!" And ya, I agree, personally I have always to photography a scene like this, it sure would make an outstanding Holiday greeting card! Love how the city just glows in the light. This is so beautiful it's amazing. The fiery orange glow of the lights on what I guess is a church, the lights of the houses and shops. Are really truly beautiful as they glow among the snow of the cold crisp night air. And the mountains in the background make this picture even more relaxing and calming to look at with the eyes. You have truly made an amazing capture with your camera here rdalpes. I love it, and I look forward to seeing you take some more pictures with it. I will also look through your gallery too. Keep it all up.

A truely stunning shot that I love so much. It reminds me of the painting 'A Starry Night'. A village tucked away and kept warm amist the harsh cold. The use of depth here is stunning and the road to the village leads the eye right where it needs to go. Although how can you miss the charming village and its gentle glow? This image is so clear and sharp you can just feel the cold air on your arms and nose. A great angle was used by the artist and clearly alot of thought went into how to present this village to the world. That hard work paid off.
